River and Mountains - 12"

The bottom half of the back piece is hand-dyed blue/green with a water-based dye oxide. Raised about 1.5" and slightly angled is a landscape made of stainless steel dyed green with a burnished tree line at the top. Behind this is a copper mountain range, hand-buffed to a beautiful shine. A steel mountain range with a brass rising sun completes this majestic landscape, both of which are hand-buffed to a glorious, swirling shine. The back layer is heat-treated in quick 6000 degree bursts creating a brilliant blue/brown effect. In spite of its' size the piece weighs less than 20 pounds. This is a commanding, majestic piece and quickly draws attention.
